Furisode-san was born in Asakusa about 30 years ago with the catchphrase "Maiko in Kyoto, Furisode-san in Asakusa."

UHNELLYS are a two-piece indie band from Tokyo, Japan. Kim (lead vocal, bass, guitar and trumpet) and Midi (drums and backing vocals) create an original structure and sound in which the boundaries of rock, hip-hop, and jazz are blurred to create something new. UHNELLYS are a rising star in Tokyo and beyond due to Kim's incredible singing skills and rapping and Midi's musical skill, energy and sexiness on drums. DJ Rinaneko [Mad Skippers/Tokyo Decadance/Planet]

(RINA means happiness in Hebrew and NEKO is cat in Japanese)

began her career as DJ in 2006. She has been playing at various shows from underground to major scenes such as Electro x Break and Dark Psychedelic Trance.

Chado is “the way of tea,” known also as a tea ceremony. Shizu-Kokoro is a school that teaches Chado. We are licensed by the Urasenke Chado School in Kyoto, one of the largest Chado schools in the world. We also provide an English Chado workshop and Matcha Experience class for visitors.

The Konishiki KIDS Foundation is a non-profit charity organization. It was established in 1996 to promote support for children in Hawaii, where former ozeki Konishiki is from. Now, they are doing useful work for people and children affected by the disaster in Tohoku. They focus on children and encourage mutual support.

Many people don’t know this, but it served as a safe haven for part of our people during difficult times. So why not show our gratitude and come visit this wonderful city? In addition to its magical landscapes, temples, and markets for fish lovers, Tsuruga is home to a fascinating museum called the "Port of Humanity Tsuruga Museum." It features a particularly moving exhibit about the rescue of 6,000 Jews, thanks to the noble Japanese diplomat Mr. Chiune Sugihara. The visas he issued saved them from certain death in the Holocaust in Europe. This is a must-visit destination that should appear on the travel map of every Israeli or Jewish visitor to Japan!
